Today we received news that our paperwork has been approved by the International Adoption Department in Hanoi. This means we are very close to getting our travel date. The paper work is now being sent back to the province that Liam is from. They will look it over one last time to ensure that everything is in order and then schedule our Giving and Receiving Ceremony. We are hopeful that it will happen quickly. But we are trying to remain patient just in case it takes longer than expected.
Keep praying.

How exciting. This is great news for a Monday. Waht a terrific way to start your week off. Hopefully you will hear even better news by next week (if not sooner).
That is excellent!!! How long have you been waiting since your dossier was completed and authenticated? From your blog it seems like you got your referral first - then completed your dossier. We just got our refferal - but we completed our dossier first. I was just trying to hear from different people so that I can make my guestimate about our situation. Congratulations again - I will be praying that things will go smoothly.
Stacey,
We did receive our referral before our Dossier was submitted to Hanoi. We have been in the program since last fall and did have our dossier complete...but our agency didn't get licensed until April. As soon as they recieved their license we got our referral. Then when our dossier was submitted our documents were too old and we had to redo them. Then reauthenticate and resubmit (we lost a lot of time).
They really measure time from the date the your dossier is accepted ("Logged In") in Hanoi. Our "log in" date was June 13. Things have progressed pretty quickly since then. We are just waiting for our travel date.
I am so glad to hear things are moving along! You will be travelling in no time!
